Located in St. Charles, MO, We Ship Express is a growing warehousing and logistics company with operations located nationwide. We are seeking someone who is looking to get their foot in the door with a growing company.

About the Position:

The Warehouse Associate II plays an important role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position is responsible for coordinating inventory placement, monitoring inventory levels, handling shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting general housekeeping as needed.

The Warehouse Associate II must be trained, willing, and able to perform all duties of a Warehouse Associate I, including picking, packing, box making, palletizing, material handling, cross-docking, and quality assurance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Pick, pack, and handle materials for orders
• Process packages for shipments to include; packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing
• Complete tasks such as receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, and staging of shipments
• Load and unload products and materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Pack product on pallets and secures with protective materials such as strapping and stretch wrap to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Maintain accurate inventory against physical count of stock
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork and that all required information is stored according to company procedure
• Ensure proper housekeeping (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Participate in quality improvement processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification required, prior forklift certification preferred
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Flexible, and able to move within entry level warehouse positions noted above
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Two to five years related experience or equivalent preferred
