Job Description
We Ship Express is a nationwide warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics company supporting customers who sell wine, beer, and spirits. As our company continues to grow and expand operations, we are seeking an experienced Fulfillment Supervisor to lead daily warehouse fulfillment operations and support consistent, high-quality service.
This position is based at our St. Charles, Missouri facility and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment. The Fulfillment Supervisor will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, support team performance, and serve as a primary point of contact for fulfillment-related customer communication.
This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence, driving accountability, and ensuring that all orders are processed accurately, on time, and in full.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning daily work to drive efficiency and quality
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in full; review and prioritize picking and shipping schedules
- Maintain strict quality control and safety standards throughout fulfillment and packaging processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts related to fulfillment operations
- Prepare and deliver daily account status recaps to customers and internal partners
- Communicate effectively with operations, sales, and customers regarding timelines, updates, and challenges
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively recommend solutions
- Oversee inventory management in partnership with internal teams, ensuring system accuracy, product condition, organization, and reconciliation
- Collaborate on check-in/check-out, settlements, and inventory control functions to support accurate and efficient operations
- Support and execute cycle count processes; assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager on staffing, scheduling, overtime, training, and performance development
- Train and develop team members on systems, SOPs, and independent task execution
- Prepare required operational reports and documentation
- Support policy development and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including safety training oversight
- Lead by example and assist with order fulfillment as needed to meet deadlines
- Perform additional duties and special projects as required to support customer needs and company growth
Leadership Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of related experience in warehouse fulfillment, logistics, or distribution (wine/spirits/beverage experience a plus)
- Strong inventory control and warehouse operations knowledge
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with proactive problem-solving ability
- Experience with WMS and warehouse software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
- Certification on motorized warehouse equipment (or ability to obtain)
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role and follow all safety requirements
